Make your voice heard–Atlanta-based gaming expo is spinning up!
I wanted to pass this along, as my good friends Preston & Patrick at the Gameroom Junkies Arcade and Pinball Podcast are working on a brand-new gaming expo that is set to debut in Atlanta in April 2014. Despite that being a year out, time flies and these events take planning and a lot of work to execute. So, with that, take a look at the following press release from the Southern-Fried Gameroom Expo and participate in the survey to help shape the content of the expo. I’ll report more as details continue to emerge….
==============================================================
We are thrilled to announce that the first annual Southern-Fried Gameroom Expo is coming to Atlanta in April 2014!
Bolstered by the success and popularity of the Atlanta Pin Swap, the Atlanta Pinball League, and other similar groups throughout the region, we are confident that there is more than enough interest and enthusiasm to support this kind of event in the southeast. In fact, we think it’s long overdue!
The Southern-Fried Gameroom Expo is being planned by a core team of six die-hard pinball and arcade enthusiasts who, just like you, want an expo that we can call our very own. Our team has spent the past several months doing research and preliminary planning for the event and are in the process of forming an LLC to ensure this becomes a reality.
Basically, we’re throwing a great big arcade party and you’re all invited! More details will be announced during this year’s Atlanta Pin Swap (April 27 in Buford, Georgia).
